AI Apps Terms

Privacy Policy AI Terms AI Apps Terms Terms of Service

Effective October 22, 2026

The board accepts these terms when it allows AI Apps on the AI Apps page. They add to the association's HOAOS subscription terms, which are DomoDomu's Terms of Service.

  1. What it is. A board member or property manager can connect their own AI app, such as Claude, to HOAOS. The app can then read the association's records as that person sees them in HOAOS: the to-do list, balances and delinquencies, violations and requests, meetings, financial reports and the governing documents. It cannot change anything.
  2. Whose account. The app runs under the board member's own account with their AI provider, not under HOAOS's. What the app sends to that provider, and how the provider uses and keeps it, is governed by the board member's agreement with that provider, not by HOAOS.
  3. The board decides. AI Apps stays off until the board turns it on. Only board members and property managers can connect; residents cannot. Each connection is approved by the member on a HOAOS consent page that names the app and where it is sending them.
  4. Turning it off. A member can disconnect an app at any time, and the board can turn AI Apps off for everyone. A connection also ends when the member's password or role changes or their account is deactivated, and after it goes unused for 30 days. Every connection and disconnection is recorded in the audit log.
  5. Check the results. As with HOAOS's own AI features, what the app says can be wrong and is not legal advice. Amounts and dates should be checked in HOAOS before anyone acts on them.
  6. No extra charge. Connecting an AI app uses no HOAOS AI credits. The member's AI provider may charge them under their own plan.
